Morality and Evolution

with one comment

Q: Can you please explain the following comment – “Morality is prime necessity for exponential evolutionary growth” as per https://lifeandequities.wordpress.com/2016/10/16/concept-of-god

A: Morality not defined as good or bad actions, because all good actions may have bad in them and bad may have good in them, and they may depend on context of country, race, time, religion, planet etc., but defined as Nivritti / Pravritti in Vedas or Centripetal force / Centrifugal force, wanting something for oneself or for others, or a mixture. Moral is in a nutshell “doing good to others”.

Because Universe is sentient and living at billion trillion voltage, our brain is a step down transformer so that brain can works at 40 watts.

We can keep on evolving infinitely, so, can we do something to accelerate evolution ? Yes, according to all Prophets and Yoga. The forces of nature are sentient and can evolve us faster only when morality is established. Imagine getting a siddhi (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Siddhi ) to implant a thought in someone’s mind. I can implant a thought in POTUS’s mind to go to war. So, there are fail proof mechanisms in nature which does not allow further evolution until morality is established. Hence Christ’s commandment “Love thy neighbour as thyself”. Highest gifts of nature will not be given to us until universal love is established.
